Two-Step Process

Creating temptation is a two-step process.

First you flirt, offering a pleasant distraction from everyday life.

At the same time, you must play hard to get. Do not let them have you, at least not right away. This builds tension.

Barriers

Not so long ago, barriers to love were tangible: race, religion, class, etc.

Although these barriers still exist, these days, many people are more open. In this case, more subtle barriers must be created in order to build tension. Perhaps you love another or aren’t interested in the target. Other reasons could be bad timing, a hidden secret, and so on.

Barriers are important because they turn the tables. They get your target to pursue you, which is the perfect seduction.

Yielding to Temptation

People are never who they seem to be. They may be virtuous on the outside, but this facade is difficult to keep up all the time. Take advantage of this knowledge.

People want to give in to temptation. They just need something that tempts them enough to make it worth their while.

Every day we resist temptation. To make your target yield, you must focus on their principal weakness, e.g., greed, boredom, vanity.

To find this principal temptation, look at the details. The clothes they wear, offhand comments, past romances, etc.

Nothing to Lose

Demonstrate to your target that by giving in to temptation, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

For example, the past holds misfortune and struggle, but follow me and you will find wealth and glory.

Still, be careful doing this. You must keep the future promises vague and just somewhat out of reach. Being too specific will set your target up for disappointment, and if it’s too close, they might achieve it before you get what you want.

Just Out of Reach

If you are the temptation, then you must stay just out of reach and mysterious.

Make your target fantasize about you. Let them know just a part of you so their mind fills in the blanks.
