This post is a She Comes First summary. Specifically, it is a summary of Part 2, Chapter 25: A Quick Refresher of the Top Ten Hot Spots in the Clitoral Network.

She Comes First was written by Ian Kerner. This chapter summary was written by Sam Fury.

Before we dive into coreplay, here’s a quick refresher on the areas of the clitoral network we’ll be focusing on.

Contents

1. Glans (Visible)

Also known as the head, crown, clit, love button, and more, the glans is the visible tip of the clitoris. Both the glans and its protective hood respond beautifully to gentle, rhythmic tongue strokes, and—once she’s well into arousal—firmer pressure.

When stimulating it for the first time, press the tip of your tongue into it and hold still, allowing her to initiate movement at her own pace. This gives her control and lets her ease into the sensation.

2. Clitoral Cluster (Hidden)

This includes the G-spot. It responds best to firm fingertip pressure and massage. Rather than trying to pinpoint a single “magic spot,” focus on stimulating the broader area.

3. Mons Pubis (External)

Also called the pubic mound, this area sits just above the clitoral cluster. Massage it with the base of your palm.

4. Front Commissure (External)

This is the smooth area just above the clitoral head and its hood. Begin with gentle tongue strokes, and once she’s aroused, apply firmer pressure using your upper lip and gum, or a fingertip massage.

5. Frenulum (External)

Located just below the clitoral head where the tops of the labia minora meet, the frenulum responds well to both tongue strokes and firm pressure.

💡 Tip: The glans, front commissure, and frenulum together are responsible for the majority of pleasure.

6. Labia Minora (External)

Also called the inner lips, they respond best to tongue strokes, gentle nibbles, and playful fingertip pinches.

7. Vaginal Entrance (External)

Once she’s sufficiently aroused and lubricated, this area responds best to slow, long licks and gentle fingertip tickles.

8. Fourchetter (External)

Found at the base of the vaginal entrance where the lower ends of the labia minora meet, the fourchette enjoys light tongue strokes and gentle fingertip tickles that tease the vaginal opening.

9. Perineum (External)

The stretch of skin between the fourchette and the anus responds well to tongue strokes, firm fingertip pressure, and gentle squeezes between the thumb and index finger—stimulating it from both sides (internal and external).

10. Anus (External)

The anus can respond positively to fingertip pressure, gentle insertion, and tongue strokes. However, keep in mind that it contains bacteria that should not be transferred to other parts of the vulva.
