1. You Are Not Your Mind

Accept the present, even if it's tough. Watch your mind label things, creating pain, and step out of those patterns. Say "yes" to what is, make it your friend, and watch life work for you, not against you.

Watch for any unhappiness in yourself. Observe the urge to talk or think about it. Focus your attention on the feeling and witness it. Then see what happens, and transform your pain.

3. Moving Deeply into the Now

Stop seeking yourself in the mind; it's a tool, not your identity. Once you understand the basics, step out of the mind and become present, avoiding getting entangled in its complexities.

Forget your life situation for a moment and find your real life; now. Be present and use your senses fully; awaken from the dream of time. Remember, all problems are made up by the mind.

4. Mind Strategies for Avoiding the Now

Be present and realize that losing the Now is the core delusion. If every cell feels vibrant with life, you're free from time. Move back and forth between time and presence until presence becomes your main state.

Monitor your mental state, and ask, "Am I at ease?" See if you're avoiding, resisting, or denying now. Wherever you are, be there totally; accept it, change it, or leave, but stay in the now.

5. The State of Presence

Stop thinking about presence, just be present. Test your alertness by waiting for the next thought, becoming like a cat watching a mouse hole. Root yourself within your body, and always feel your inner energy.

Listen to the silence, even amidst noise. The stillness in you connects you to the stillness outside, which is presence. Remember, Christ is not a person; it is your divine presence. Use the master's presence to intensify your own.

6. The Inner Body

Feel Being as the ever-present "I am." Reclaim consciousness from your mind by focusing on your body and feeling the life inside. Make it your task on your spiritual journey.

Connect with your inner body; feel the energy within. The body can then take you to a deeper realization of Being. Don't look elsewhere for truth. Practice self-healing and listening.

7. Portals into the Unmanifested

Meditate and feel your inner body clearly as a field of energy. Drop mental and visual images and merge with the energy so there is no observer. Transcend the body and live in pure Being.

Open a portal in your life to access the Unmanifested. Be present, disidentify from your mind, and surrender to what is. Realize that you are the bridge between the Unmanifested and the manifested.

8. Enlightened Relationships

Enter the Now; don't wait for time to save you. Let go of needing time to find, sort, do, achieve, acquire, become, or understand; just realize you are already there. 

Accept that your relationships are not here to make you happy, but to make you conscious. Transmute them by being present with your partner, relinquishing judgment, and accessing love and peace.

9. Beyond Happiness and Unhappiness There Is Peace

Accept everything by allowing it to be, forgetting positive-negative thoughts; then, you become an intelligence beyond the mind. Relinquish the resistance to enjoy the higher good beyond both good and bad conditions.

Know when to let go of negativity, and imagine yourself becoming transparent. Practice accepting things that should not be happening. Realize that you cannot think and be aware of space simultaneously, only in stillness.

10. The Meaning of Surrender

Accept the present without resistance to connect to your Being. If it isn't possible, take immediate actions; speak up, change, or leave. Do not allow unhappiness a home within you or pollute yourself with it.

Acknowledge resistance, and focus your attention in the now, so unconsciousness is made conscious; only then can it end. Use negativity by letting it be a signal to be more present.
