This post is a She Comes First summary. Specifically, it is a summary of Part 2, Chapter 42: Moreplay: She Comes Again (and Again), Chapter 43: Seamless Transitions, Chapter 44: Achieving Simultaneity, and Chapter 45: Don’t Forget Your Epilogue.
She Comes First was written by Ian Kerner. This chapter summary was written by Sam Fury.
Most women are capable of experiencing multiple orgasms.
In fact, once a woman has climaxed the first time, it often becomes easier for her to do so again. More often than not, the only real obstacle is your impatience.
Unlike men, who typically go “cold” almost immediately after orgasm (thanks to the refractory period), women usually just need a little time to simmer. With the right kind of attention, they can stay aroused and ready for more.
So, instead of calling it quits the moment she orgasms, keep her warm with kissing, cuddling, and soft, teasing touches.
Of course, if you can orgasm and then continue with foreplay, that works too—the main thing is to keep her aroused until you’re both ready to dive back in. And when you are, you can restart with your hands, your tongue, or your penis.
The best time for intercourse is often right after her first orgasm. At this stage, she’s already warmed up and much more likely to climax again, even from penetration alone.
That said, it’s always smart to start with cunnilingus before penetration. This way, you can get her as close as possible to the edge, making her second orgasm even more likely.
Once she’s close to her second orgasm, invite her on top. This position gives her control and is ideal for multiple reasons:
She can position her clitoris against your pubic bone for perfect pressure.
Her clitoral cluster can be stimulated against your penis.
She controls the rhythm and pace, letting her fine-tune the experience.
As a bonus, because you’ll likely be thrusting less, you’ll also find it easier to control your own orgasm.
The Coital Alignment Technique is a variation of missionary that greatly increases a woman’s chance of orgasm.
Here’s how it works: instead of thrusting in and out, you penetrate from a slightly higher angle and rock back and forth. This maintains constant contact with her clitoris while creating a more stimulating, connected experience.
Simultaneous orgasm is most likely when you know your partner’s body and signals well. The more you’ve explored together, the easier it becomes to sense when she’s about to climax—and to time your own release with hers.
While it’s not something to force, aiming for this shared experience can create an incredibly intimate bond.
Just as foreplay sets the stage, “more play” after sex keeps the connection alive.
Once the orgasms are over, don’t roll away and check out. Stay close—embrace, kiss, touch, or simply talk.
That extra 15 minutes of intimacy after the fact is often what transforms good sex into great relationships.
